Abstract Chalcones compounds have been investigated to exhibit anticancer activity through various physiological modes of action. In order develop chalcone with novel anticancer-related action, diverse were designed and synthesized. Variously substituted poly-methoxy 1 – 17 prepared, their structures identified using high-resolution mass spectrometry (HR/MS) nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) experiments. Long-term survival clonogenic assay was applied evaluate anti-cancer abilities revealed that GI50 values ranged between 1.33 172.20 μM. When MCF-7SC cells treated concentrations compound 14 , reduced cell viability induced apoptosis in observed a dose-dependent manner. Wound healing demonstrated prevented the MCF7-SC migrated at non-lethal after 12 24 h exposure.
